The RITA Award Winners for the Best in Romance

Last week the Romance Writers of America hosted the RITA Awards ceremony in Denver, celebrating the best in romance writing. Spanning a range of subgenres and reading interests, the RITA categories have something for anyone who likes to read passionate stories about people seeking their other half, whether they realize it or not. (It's often more fun when they don't!)

While the RITA Awards are a dazzling highlight of the conference, the panel discussions and workshops teach authors essential tools that range from writing craft to branding to contracts and pricing.

According to the Romance Writers of America, romance has a 34% share of the fiction market. So if you read romance and feel like you're the only one...well, just talk to three other people who read, and you're likely to find another romance reader.

Below is a partial (though still long) list of the 2018 RITA winners. For a full list of winners, visit the RITA Award website.
