Winners of the 2019 Audie Awards

Audies.pngLast night, authors, narrators, and publishers gathered for the announcement of the winners of the 2019 Audie Awards®, "recognizing distinction in audiobooks and spoken-word entertainment." Given by the Audio Publishers Association, judges included Washington Post book critic Ron Charles, NPR's Linda Holmes, and Lisa Lucas, Executive Director of the National Book Foundation. They selected from a group of nominees that included Sally Field, Megan Mullally, Nick Offerman, Emma Thompson, and former Vice President Joe Biden. The event was held in New York City and hosted by Tan France, author of the forthcoming book, Naturally Tan: A Memoir.
