The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown
This true story reads like fiction and tells the story of the University of Washington rowing team that won the gold medal in the 1936 Olympic Games in Germany. It’s a gripping story. The description and writing are some of the most powerful I’ve ever read.

When it comes to edge of your seat storytelling, Sandy Brown is at the top of my list. She’s in good form with this book, hitting high marks on both the romance and the suspense.

The Friend Zone by Kristen Callihan
I read all genres and picked up this New Adult novel by a young author I hadn’t read before. Wow! I was blown away. This is a beautiful story of friendship that blossoms into love. I can’t wait to read more of her work.
