NBA_longlist_200Today the longlist for the National Book Award for Young People's Literature were announced and there are several of my own favorites among the contenders.  The ten titles that make up the list are a mix of both middle grade and young adult, and I don't envy the committee in having to choose a single winner come November.  The finalists will be announced on October 13th and the winner on November 16th at an awards ceremony in New York.
